BPR: Failed presidential and New York mayoral candidate Andrew Yang will renounce the Democrat Party in favor of his yet-to-be-announced third party next month, timed in conjunction with his brand new book in what many are deeming a publicity stunt at best, and a failure before launch at worst.
The announcement of the new, third party is expected on October 5, 2021, parallel with the release of Yangâs, âForward: Notes on the Future of Our Democracy,â Politico reported, citing âtwo people familiar with the matter.â
Published by Penguin Random House subsidiary, Crown, the book is being billed as âa powerful and urgent warning that we must step back from the brink and plot a new way forward for our democracy.â It promises to identify ââpriests of the declineâ of America, including politicians whose incentives have become divorced from the people they supposedly serve,â according to an online description.
The description also notes that the book was inspired by Yangâs âexperience running for office,â but fails to mention the abysmal results of his two campaigns. more here

Ross Perot could legitimately start a ‘third party’, probably a handful of others. Trump hasn’t tried to but he certainly could. Yang, well he can start ‘another party’, to go along with the dozen or more that already exist. On the other hand so could I. If you can’t draw more than Libertarian or Green you aren’t starting a ‘third party’.
