Another one of 0bama’s illegals to be removed

GP:
One of Barack Obama’s prized illegal aliens will likely be sent back to his place of birth after getting caught breaking the law again.

As Newsweek reported on Monday, 27-year-old Darwin Contreras, a man residing in Pennsylvania, was arrested on June 24 following a so-called routine court appearance. Contreras had been attending a proceeding related to the Accelerated Rehabilitative Disposition (ARD) program.

Contrera’s wife, Elizabeth DeJesus, claimed to Newsweek that the ICE agents were wearing “something you can get from Walmart” and refused to tell her where they were taking her husband.

She later learned he had been transported to Pike County Correctional Facility in Lords Valley. more

I guess you can’t make this stuff up.

Darwin gets The Darwin Award. And his wife, DeJesus, finds her husband in Lords Valley.

What Alternate Universe am I in? Au Contraire Contreras?

  2. Honestly? This is a tough one. The guy — as bad as he might be — has been in this country since he was a young boy of 7. I don’t think anyone in their just mind could say he should be deported. Little kids have no control over the actions of their parents and this is the only country he has really ever known. If I was his lawyer I don’t think I would have a hard time representing him. And I would strongly argue that he was failed over and over again by gov’t “helpers”. When oblowme, biden and the congress got involved in immigration, it was obvious there would be long term consequences to all illegals and every other stripe of so-called asylum-seekers, etc.

I’m a hard-liner when it come to immigration and expelling illegals from our country, but we are talking about human lives that have become pawns in political games and electioneering. And in the case of oblowme and biden, their political hackery has resulted in devastation to both American-born and those who were enticed — and even brought — into our country.

This is a good example of a situation that is not so black and white.

  3. I have ‘cousins’, who are black and German, adopted by my great uncle back (Army) in the day. When those kids turned 18, they were told to file for paperwork with the feds to become US citizens. The girl did, the boy did not. The boy went on to be a menace. Drugs, theft, other activities.

Finally, the feds got tired of dealing with him and deported him after a few years long jail time. He had all the time in the world to do what he needed to do way past age 18. But he didn’t bother. His sister went on to become a US citizen and worked a very long time for the mayor’s office. The boy was deported back to Germany.

Illegal kids know they’re illegal. So do the ones who were here on Visas and overstayed. But these people get cushy and arrogant.
I didn’t feel bad for my ‘cousin’ at all. He knew. Did nothing about it.

  4. MJA — Your story has helped to make me see this other guy’s story differently. Certainly something to think about. Thanks.

Curious. Did the German gov’t have any problem taking him back? Or were they obliged to?

  5. In all seriousness, I don’t think it’s the responsibility of the US Gov’t or the American public to rectify a bad situation that this guy’s parents put him in 20 years ago, even if he didn’t have any choice. Tough Merde Hombre, Adios. Also, if we go soft on this guy it will encourage the same thing to happen repeatedly. If you incentivize something you get more of it. If you penalize something you get less of it. This will serve as a warning to all the other illegals who come and hope that their kids will at least be OK. Run a PR campaign that says something to the effect of “Don’t be a bad parent and a Pendejo and put your kids in a situation where they don’t know anything but America and get deported to a shithole where they don’t know the language”.
