Anthony The Science Fauci says U.S. is ‘certainly’ out of pandemic stage of COVID-19

Dr. Anthony Fauci, the country’s top infectious disease expert, says the United States is “certainly” past the pandemic stage of fighting the coronavirus, though he acknowledges it continues in other countries around the world.

“We are certainly right now in this country out of the pandemic phase,” he told PBS NewsHour host Judy Woodruff on Tuesday. “We don’t have 900,000 new infections a day and tens and tens and tens of thousands of hospitalizations and thousands of deaths. We are at a low level right now. So, if you’re saying, are we out of the pandemic phase in this country, we are.”

  3. You know for about two years now I have been pointing at the Spanish Flu that occurred 102 years earlier. Of course that was even more devastating. During that period there were fights about masking, discovery that sunlight and fresh air were tremendously beneficial, lots that apparently needed to be reinvented 2 years ago for no reason whatsoever. Also, since vaccine technology was still fairly crude, few people got ‘vaccine shots’ and I don’t know that they were effective.
    And then it ended, after about 2 years. Funny how viruses work. I have been saying for 2 years that it will go about 2 years.

  7. There is now a hard-core percentage of the population who choose to be permanently masked, even in their cars and walking alone outside, etc. Imagine the fear in their minds. And there’s nothing we can do for them except refuse to comply with the next round – which will come. And the next one is going to be even uglier.

  8. …bear in mind that THIS was just a tune-up. This was a trial of a relatively quiescent virus meant to gauge how and how quickly they could spread it, where they need to improve the propagation of it, how people react to control measures and…most importantly…to get people burnt out on control measures and destroy faith in the medical profession in the process.

    This is just prelude to Fauci opening his O-T-H-E-R seven Chinese vials onto a fatigued world, something TRULY virulent this time that actually WILL cause massive, horrific death this time, but better targeted using the information, right down to people’s DNA, they gathered from this dry run.

    They WILL repeat this.

    But NEXT time, it will be for REAL.

  9. * We don’t have 900,000 new infections a day

    According to the graph on worldometers, USA had two (2) days of 900,000 infections or more per day.

    Who knew the first 15 days to flatten the curve and 2-1/2 years of tyranny (that’s still ongoing) was really only 2 days? So is he now admitting everything during the 2-1/2 years sans 2 days was, to put it lightly, excessive?
