Anti-racism Icon Robin Di Angelo Paid More Than Black Woman for Same Job

WFB: The prominent diversity consultant Robin DiAngelo raked in $12,750 for a speaking gig last month at the University of Wisconsin—70 percent more than the other keynote speaker, black female author Austin Channing Brown.

The University of Wisconsin-Madison’s Division of Diversity, Equity, and Educational Achievement paid Channing Brown just $7,500 for her keynote address at its annual Diversity Forum, receipts obtained by the Washington Free Beacon show. The payments were negotiated with the Harry Walker Agency, a New York-based speakers bureau that represents both women.

DiAngelo has called such inequitable treatment the racist heart of capitalism, claiming that “capitalism is dependent on inequality.… If the model is profit over everything else, you’re not going to look at your policies to see what is most racially equitable.” As she writes in her bestseller White Fragility, she believes racism helps white people and hinders non-white people at every step of the employment process: “Whiteness has psychological advantages that translate into material returns.” read more

  1. This is the accepted norm for GLAZIS.

(portmanteau)= Global Nazis. Use in a sentence.

The United States will soon have a GLAZI Administration in the White House.

  2. Just like Talcum X (Shaun King). He knows what Black people need because fundamentally he does not trust African Americans to chart their own course.

I am truly lucky living in Canuckistan. Turdeau shared his racism with me when he dressed up in black face (multiple times) & blamed it on “Layers of systematic Racism” even though I grew up in a black neighborhood and never did what he did.

You see, I am Guilty of his racist behavior because of the system. The system that keeps me working physically and mentally 60 hours a week for 33 years.

Blessed am I to bask in Turdeau’s wisdom. Soon America too will be enlightened by the wisdom of a very learned man if Biden is inaugurated.

What great times to be privy to witness…

  3. I worked for a guy who could command up to $40k per speech, although the amount varied a lot based upon many factors (including travel distance). He can command that much because he has a lot of speaking experience, is an excellent speaker and well-known in the industry, and has a compelling message. Should someone else deserve the same pay just because of sex or skin color? Obviously not.
