I’m listening again to Beresford’s multi-part lecture series about Algier Hiss and Whitaker Chambers (YT – search “typewriter nixon”).
Guess who covered up for Hiss and kept him from getting anything harsher than two perjury charges? The FBI and State Dept. Under a Democrat majority in Congress. Hiss should have been executed for his many years spying for Russia/Communism.
