For Derek Trucks fans, you could scour the bowels of the youtube vaults until the cows come home and you would be hard-pressed to find a finer piece of music than this, and you get Greg Allman as a bonus;
Rich – that was a wonderful surprise… I fell in love with the Allman Bros with Idlewild South in the early years after Duane was killed. Never heard “Dreams,” though. Wow. what a cool breeze that was. Thank you so much. I’m 73 yo formerly retired public school Algebra teacher going back to my 6th year at a Christian school teaching on Wednesday. We’ve been in orientation for a week. We were inspired and prayed over and given newer tougher rules as to cell phones and other distractions but I say all that to say this…
that music really helped me to remember one particular concert with my beloved late hubs. and my former self. I need to do that periodically and I almost forgot. Thank you for the reminder. Now I’m ready.
Its nice to see people wearing their pants properly and playing real instruments rather than making Chimp Noises into the Mic & Grabbing their Nuts to a Scratch Record.

Always loved Molly Hatchet’s album covers
Thanks again Rich
Whipping Post. Dicky Betts and Duane. And that beautiful young Gregg, With double drummers, oh how I love it all.
I too have watched/listened many times over these YouTube years. YT does serve that purpose especially with good speakers. Blues-Rock heaven.
Good night all.

oh and Jason, I did especially love Jessica, an instrumental that absolutely carries you away. Now I need to find those back stories, Sweet Melissa as well.
