AOC Is SAD

Blaze: Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.), the progressive firebrand who cruised to re-election last week, suggested in a new interview that she might be on her way out of politics.

Speaking with the New York Times, Ocasio-Cortez said she might depart from politics as it becomes even more clear that her far-left progressive agenda is not welcome in the Democratic Party.

When asked if she is considering a Senate run in the next couple of years, Ocasio-Cortez said, “I genuinely don’t know.”

“I don’t even know if I want to be in politics. You know, for real, in the first six months of my term, I didn’t even know if I was going to run for re-election this year,” she added. “It’s the incoming. It’s the stress. It’s the violence. It’s the lack of support from your own party. It’s your own party thinking you’re the enemy.”

She continued, “But I’m serious when I tell people the odds of me running for higher office and the odds of me just going off trying to start a homestead somewhere — they’re probably the same.” more

  1. Best news I’ve heard in days. Made my day,

At the end of the article:

“…There is no way to put this other than to say … Joe Biden winning looks like a one-off. This election for the most part was an absolute repudiation of the Democratic Party as a brand. Their brand doesn’t work across most of America. It just doesn’t,” he said…”

Further evidence of presidential election FRAUD. Biden STOLE the results to date.

  2. I foresee an unfortunate household chemical accident in her future. The kind where she tries to clean vomit off of something with bleach mixed with ammonia, because it will do a better job of making it clean! That or the garbage disposal snatches the dangling scarf and chokes her to death. Either way, good riddance.

  3. ” … she might be on her way out of politics.”

I doubt it, once someone enters politics they never seem to leave it, not unless they are somehow driven out of it by forces yet to be seen.

But it’s nice to talk about it, makes her seem like she’s still one of the commoners making a sacrifice for the rest of us by being there.

  4. I strongly suspect that the oligarchy, big corporation interests and their politician cronies, are pushing hard against her. They didn’t want Bernie. They don’t want AOC.

  5. She’s probably getting offers from fake news or academia. What else does a far-left progressive agenda qualify her to do?
It’s still politics, she just can’t comprehend it.

  6. AOC’s brand is single pronged: “ORANGE MAN BAD.”

Without Trump, she is nothing and brings nothing to the table.

Just like so many democrats out there, especially the lapdog media.

And they know it. Time to find the exits!

  7. “You know, for real” – this socialist is a liar. She is complaining that her far left group doesn’t have control, yet. There is no other job where she is going to be able to be decked out in $14,000 suits pretending she doesn’t know what a garbage disposal is while fleecing her fund raising apparatus.

  8. “..It’s the lack of support from your own party. It’s your own party thinking you’re the enemy.”, AOC

Soooo, while she is unwilling to state it plainly, or even self admit it. She is saying she and PDJT share common problems.

  9. “So I need my colleagues to understand that we are not the enemy. And that their base is not the enemy. That the Movement for Black Lives is not the enemy, that Medicare for all is not the enemy. This isn’t even just about winning an argument. It’s that if they keep going after the wrong thing, I mean, they’re just setting up their own obsolescence.”

They really should listen to her and double-down on everything they were doing.

  10. We should be able to get a peek at what her net worth was five years ago and the compare it to her net worth today. There’s a reason you can’t ever get politicians to quit. And I doubt if it’s job satisfaction.
But then again she’s a self proclaimed socialist so maybe money and power don’t mean anything her. Just like Bernie. LOL.

  11. Cool. She gave us a short list of things that sway her to leave.

We should take that to heart and use it. A lot.

It will come to violence with lists and trying to eliminate the GOP.

    It’s called self preservation.

Don’t start nothin’, won’t be nothin’.

  12. I think there’s an opportunity for IOTWr here.

    Violence?

How about slapping some custom made Trump 2020 or, maybe better, TRUMP 2024 stickers on lib cars. Right over their Biden sticker.

Make them faded so they look like they’ve been on there a while.

I would buy some of those.

They are violent against each other for lesser perceived infractions.

You can tell a lib car even if they don’t have a Biden sticker. They have their virtue signaling plastered all over them. Coexist and such.

Probably should vary the fading and font every so often so they aren’t easily recognized by the half wits.

  13. Maybe aoc should be encouraged to become a regular with Rachel Maddow. They could do a point counterpoint style program. That would give us some peace and quiet.
