DanBongino: Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez may enjoy widespread popularity in the mainstream media and on Twitter, but that hasn’t spread to her own district, where an entire 21% of voters approve of her. Or put in other terms, President Donald Trump is roughly 2.5 times as popular nationally (according to the latest Rasmussen poll) as AOC is in her district. Of course, you’d glean the opposite impression from the mainstream media’s reporting.
It’s still unknown if her seat will survive the 2020 Census. The census will shift congressional seats due to population changes, and New York could lose two seats – one of which could be AOC’s.
