Apple To Reopen Some Stores In The US

[…] The company said it will open “some” stores in Alabama, Alaska, Idaho and South Carolina. Apple has two stores in both South Carolina and Alabama but did not say which would open. Its Boise, Idaho location will open Monday, with others to follow later in the week.

Apple executives have said they are examining local health data at the county and city level in each community where the company has physical stores to determine when to reopen. Apple has locations in several U.S. states, such as Texas and Georgia, where state rules would in theory allow it to reopen stores, but it has not yet announced plans to do so. read more

  2. How about they build an actual factory here, stores are fine and all, and the building of these stores do provide local jobs to the contractors?

    I know, I know, but but but, it doubles the price of the product to ‘make it here’. Whatever.

    For clarity, I do not own apple products…

  3. For anyone thinking of buying an APPLE computer, instead try a Linux operating system. It’s built on the same UNIX core as APPLE uses hijacked, not as pretty and there’s bit of a learning curve, and it will run on virtual any computer. AND IT”S FREE!
