A vote that would have made an Atlanta-area Apple store the first in the country to be unionized was scuttled this week after organizers claimed the company had engaged in”intimidation” against the labor activists in charge of the effort.
The union Communication Workers of America said that “an overwhelming majority of the workers” at Apple’s Cumberland Mall location in Atlanta “announced that they were forming a union in April and requested recognition from the company.”
CWA told media that Apple subsequently “conducted a systematic, sophisticated campaign to intimidate [workers] and interfere with their right to form a union” ahead of the vote.
Ricky Gervais nailed these a-holes 2 years ago when he noted that the wokest companies had their products made in third-world sweat shops.
A woke international socialist company thwarts the efforts of socialist Union organization’s effort to intimidate workers to support the socialist leaders of the Union.
Socialists fighting and eating each other.
I call BS.
Union knows it won’t get the votes!
I hate unions, forced to join two back in the day and really needed to be represented once. My rep was asked by management for me to leave a meeting about me and he told me I had to. I told another rep about it and he agreed I had every right to hear what was being discussed. Nothing happened to me because management claims were baseless and I got a cussing out from the rep who didn’t let me stay in the meeting, said he would never fight for me again!
Ha! I said you never did in the first place.
I do believe unions served a purpose at one time making work places safer and more fairly structured but now most just let people who should be fired keep their jobs and become a burden to other workers.
Cry more, bitches. I could not possibly care less.
