As anyone in IT security knows, once the physical device is out of your control the security is assumed non existent and entirely compromised. Doesn’t matter what device it is.

For what it’s worth, Signal aside, as i understand it, if you use a fingerprint to in lock your phone, a judge can order you to open it for law enforcement. if you use a password, they cannot.
The CIA created Google… so why would anyone trust Signal or anything else on the web?
Signal began working very erratically for me a few weeks ago. Dropped it.
