California Globe:
The Arizona Attorney General’s Office, led by Kris Mayes (D), is investigating allegations of a “pay-to-play” scheme involving Governor Katie Hobbs (D), her inauguration fund, and the Arizona Democratic Party.
The investigation follows reports that Sunshine Residential Homes, a group home operator, donated a large sum to Hobbs’s inauguration and the Democratic Party shortly before receiving a significant rate increase for its services.
While the Attorney General’s Office is leading the state-level investigation, some reports also mention the Maricopa County Attorney is looking into the company’s potential benefit from the donations. more
She may not be of above average intelligence, but she’s not likely to be so stupid that she thought no one would notice the pay and payoff. That raises the question of why she thought she would get away with it.
“That raises the question of why she thought she would get away with it.”
This assumes that she won’t get away with it, which, if history is any indication, they always do.
An endless parade of Democrat felons, all smug and secure in the knowledge only one side ever faces legal consequences.
There is only one thing worse than reading over and over about Democrats breaking the law, and that is that they are never held accountable, like rubbing our noses in the grift.
This frumpy little retard is in a lot of trouble. I hope Kari Lake visits her in prison.
NATIONAL PICKLE DAY National Pickle Day recognizes Arizona Governor Katie Hobbs (D) as a political Shit Pickle.
Governor Hobbs shares this year’s National Recognition with Illinois Governor JB Pritzker, a notable Shit Pickle in his own right.
Az is a state I keep my eye on. First we have a lot of family there and second if we escaped California some day that’s most likely our destination. It seems to me after watching that shit show, that Az has been politically taken over by a bunch of libtard sidewinders that extend from the Phoenix Chief of Police all the way up to the Governor. And quite a few of these people call them selves Republicans. Wolfs in sheep’s clothes. I’d be interested in hearing the opinion from residence of that state. In my opinion the politics don’t match the demographics.
It would be nice if they all got caught up in this mess.
Sorry, Brad. We’re full up. However, you may be exempt. Based on your answers to a questionaire you may qualify.
Katie Hobbs (D) The D is for Dummy.
She’s just a nuther stooge put in place by the democRAT machine.
She made my list of punchable faces a couple of years ago.
This woman personifies the scum of the democrst party no.less than hillary clinton does.
Arizona is a beautiful state with mostly wonderful people. The natural desert is beautiful.
But somehow the liberals and the cartels got full control of the levers of government that matter.
@Harry
The cartel put her in place.
Why do progressive women all wear oversized weird eye glasses? she looks ridiculous with the glasses resting on her cheeks.
Kris Mayes is accused of taking money from the DNC to prosecute the Trump alternative electors from 2020. I find it difficult to believe she would be chasing any kind of prosecution of Hobbs unless it was an attempt at deflection.
Arizona’s political machine has been compared to Chicago’s with some saying it’s worse.
hey Bad_Brad ! I live in Mohave County in northwest corner of Arizona butted up against Commiefornia and Nevada . Mohave County is about 76% Republican voters , the last 2 presidential election were an almost identical turnout of voters for Orange Man Bad 😁. Of the 15 counties in the Copper State, the problem counties are Maricopa, Coconino and Pima counties , which Maricopa holds almost 50% of the state’s population and full of California refugees who fled the Golden State due to their jobs leaving or cost of living but then they show up and vote Demtard inexplicably, they can’t seem to make the connection that DemonRats always want to tax and regulate excessively while throwing money down a rathole and of course taking your 2nd amendment rights away and starting all kinds of programs for the gimmedat crowd . Fortunately in Arizona the state legislature is still controlled by R’s so property taxes are still reasonable and state run benefit programs are not overly generous such as Commiefornia. In the end the lesson is : to stop communism, communists must be eliminated.

nailed it.

Thanks for replying bud. We were at the Omni, at the base of Camel Back three months ago. Never ran into a Lib. If you went to Cave Creek right now you’d find guys on Harley’s running from bar to bar with Trump flags hanging off their bikes. I know that’s a very limited exposure but I don’t get it. When we checked out of the resort the dude driving the cart spotted the California plates and blurts out, we don’t mind Californians moving here if they leave their politics behind. I answered back, dude, I’m an 07 FFL with my ass stuck in California. Where do you think my politics lay. He turned into the AZ chamber of commerce. Whipped out his cell phone showing me his high mountain fav fishing spots. I mean for like a half an hour. Like I say, I don’t get it. I think it’s something other than Cali transplants. I’m smelling corruption. But thanks for your reply.
“tsquared

Just asking for my own relevance. Does t squared live in AZ?
brad

Valid point pal. And why the idiot Republicans should have pulled the Nuclear option. All I know right now without a dramatic shift, I;m not thinking I can retire in California. Utilities alone will drive you broke. The wife and I are both native Californians. Pretty sad all the way around. I dunno.
Here in Washington we have similar problems. My wife and I have had many conversations about where we would go if we left what has been our home. Nothing looks obvious. I think we are going to stay put and if/when the opportunity/requirement shows itself to fight for something we will. Being senior citizens we can’t claim to be Seal Team Six material but we are plenty frustrated and pissed off!
im in the same boat. its the fire insurance killing me. i been looking so i will share. southern alabama. get ground and a new house reasonable. south west is the high ground keep you out of the storm surge and flooding. pge is 1/3 the cost we pay, insurance is 1/3, fuel cheaper. i have not been there yet to check it out, but it looks like a guy can retire with ground (10 acres is my minimum) drive 30-40 minutes to the coast. i like sea fishing, so ill be there. its hot and humid with skeeters and cottonmouth. hunting looks exceptional with short stocky sorts. want out of the heat drive to the coast or turn up the ac. i thought about keeping a place in california and do both. nah. too corrosive, seems likes its getting worse by the day.
Kinda OT, Got my eye on extreme northern AZ. Prescott and maybe north. Full of injuns. Navajo. First of all I’m a sucker for native American culture and stories. So I stumble on the REZ page absolutely chalked full of encounters with Shape Shifters. Scared the hell out of me. LOL. If Hollywood discovered that page they’d be making money again Holy shit.

“im in the same boat. its the fire insurance killing me.”
Bro, not to get to personal, are you a Cali Resident? I live on a Cul De Sac with all one acre lots. Norcal just north of Sacratomato. All of my neighbors have been canceled and had to seek coverage from the state of California. Just give the all your money. So I pull up the dumb ass Calfire high risk map, that was established 15 years ago, and it totally makes a little jig jag and misses us. Freaken amazing. The neighbors the the direct north of us have their garage in extreme fire danger, but not their house. There’s no canopy around any of us. They built a big ass subdivision on the quarter section to the east of us since that map was done. We’re surrounded by concrete. What a joke. If you do live in Cali I might have a tip for you. A broker that goes right to the under writers.
Bad_Brad I lived in San Diego for 30 years 1986-2016 , Imperial Beach , Chula Vista and Oceanside. The Invasora was one of the reasons i departed for AZ . I have to layover in Winslow a couple times a week for my job , Northern Arizona in my humble opinion is no place I would want to live other than it’s not a complete blast furnace in the summertime, not to mention the Navajo Nation is a pox to be reckoned with in that area . Also it is my opinion that Soros or one of his tentacles has Phoenix/ Maricopa government in its grasp , part of the plan to rearrange political power along the Southwest border of the United States. California is almost a lost cause, New Mexico is ran by Demtards , the little troll governor here in Arizona doesn’t care about a secure border, at least Texas is holding the line at the Rio Grande .
yes, im in the east foothills of sac valley, in a high wildfire risk area. its a beautiful oak wooded area with rolling hills. i have deer, turkey, fox, bear and all the other smaller critters. been here for 30 plus years. i get no visitors save the amazon and ups driver. neighborhood is solid constitutionalists. ill take that broker number. i have spent many days searching for reasonable insurance, with nothing to show. im on the state fair plan and under insured. the current homeowners insurance market in california is heavily regulated. the regulation is the problem and it does not look to change in the future. the state is quite content with having our money with all residents on the state fair plan in the end. if you want a real eye opener deep dive how well the state fair plan pays claims. i could afford to stay, but why, they are just going to continue the fleecing of wealth. being retired and somewhat fixed income. oh yeah, prop 50 passing is a huge indicator for me, how can i stay when i know the state is intent on silencing my vote.

Wow, we’re neighbors. Asking MJA for your Email. I can’t guarantee anything but this guy has come through in the past. Amador County? Awesome place.
brad
