Illegal Migrants getting voting rights is a topic on the minds of many Americans this close to the midterm elections, and while Democrats flood the country with a massive invasion of migrants- letting them vote- is on the minds of many people. This is a great time to understand who can vote in embattled Arizona, which has seen a disaster with migrants crossing illegally.
According to Ballotpedia, “Arizona requires voters to present photo identification or two forms of non-photo identification (ID) while voting. Accepted forms of photo ID include driver’s licenses, Arizona ID cards, and U.S. government-issued IDs. Accepted forms of non-photo ID include utility bills, bank statements, and valid Arizona vehicle registration documents containing the voter’s name and address. For a list of all accepted forms of ID.
Voters who do not have ID while voting may cast provisional ballots. See below for provisional ballot rules.”
House Bill 2492, to protect citizens voting rights, was introduced in January by Representative Jake Hoffman. It passed on Feb. 26 in a 31-26 vote with three abstentions and was signed into law in May. None of the House’s Democrats supported the policy. more
Provisional ballots? How the hell does an adult of the US persuasion NOT have ID?
No I.D.? No problem. Don’t let the door hit you in the ass as you leave.
There’s also a law that no one can cross the border illegally. How’s that working out?
I have a problem with this: “ Accepted forms of non-photo ID include utility bills, bank statements, and valid Arizona vehicle registration…”
How the hell does a utility bill prove who you are? And then you have to make sure the democrat bureaucrats running the polling places, enforce the law. And unless voter fraud of any kind is a felony with mandatory long prison sentence, we are never going to stop it.
@ Tony R.
Exactly! It doesn’t make any difference how many laws you pass. If no one enforces them and there’s no real penalty for breaking them…
Why isn’t that the law of the land and strictly enforced?
