As God is my witness …. one of the funniest shows ever on TV
p.s. Bailey was hot!
Oh the humanity!
I like turkey.
Like A Christmas Story is for Christmas (You’ll shoot your eye out, kid.”), this is fast becoming a Thanksgiving classic.
🙂
I shot my own turkey this year.
I’m banned from the Price Chopper but it’s all good!
Happy Thanksgiving!
Where in the world did you ever dig that one up? 🙂
Love that episode.
Anyway, I wish everyone here a Happy Thanksgiving. We all have something to be thankful for (more or less).
Cheers, and try not to club your lib relatives over the head with a drumstick.
Decorum people, decorum.
They fly high enough to take out your windshield and you.
Never watched any sitcoms until In Living Color.
I’m thankful my Thanksgiving is Hillary free.
I loved WKRP!
Turkeys fly here, and are enormous! They look like fluffy dinosaurs when they are strolling around outside. And it is crazy to see them fly into a tree and perch on a branch because they are so huge. Not something a person who grew up in suburbs would expect to see. I never knew they could fly till I moved to the boonies.
Wild turkeys can fly, but I believe commercial raised can’t….been clipped.
I could be wrong, tho.
FWIW, Bailey Quarters married Spielberg. She’s a hotty.
@Whatshername: Now that’s FUNNY!
(Coincidentally, it’s also the same reason I’m banned from Kroger, except in my case it involved someone with two shopping carts full of groceries in the fast lane.)
🙂
That episode was based on an actual event that took place in Dallas, Texas.
“The show was created by former Atlanta ad executive Hugh Wilson, who based some of the characters and antics from QXI, a powerhouse Atlanta top 40 station back when AM radio ruled.
“This disaster was inspired by a much less horrific turkey giveaway WQXI general manager Jerry Blum (the inspiration for Carlson) had conjured up in the late 1950s in Dallas when he dropped turkeys off a pickup truck.
That was my favorite episode.
So much funny in wkrp
