BPR: As police officers and police departments around the country come increasingly under attack from Left-wing activists and elected officials in the wake of the death of George Floyd, a Los Angeles-based watch company has produced a powerful, compelling ad that is supportive of officers.
Called “Speak Truth,” the 2-minute ad focuses on how difficult it is for police officers to keep the peace in an imperfect world, and that how too often their heroic acts that save lives go unnoticed and unappreciated.
“This world…this world is so imperfect. It’s full of pain and fear,” says Ilan Srulovicz, co-owner of Égard Watches, a luxury timepiece brand with offices in Los Angeles and Toronto, as images of a burning vehicle give way to a woman with tears in her eyes. WATCH
These shitholes will pay, when police are afraid to respond to their emergencies. Firefighters will probably feel the same.
What do these companies think the average American thinks?
I think the problem is that they aren’t thinking.
Just keep on showing us who you really are, big corporations.
Unlike the silly children you are trying to appease, I have a job & my hard earned money won’t line your pockets.
It’s getting to the point of where do I go to shop? The headhonchos of these companies either pander or tend to be nutcases themselves or both.
Freddie’s Fashion Mart….
When will they be issuing their apology?
I lay all this at the feet of that Destroyer-in-Chief, oblowme. And the RNC for giving us first, McCain, and then Romney.
You can only subsist on evil leadership for so long. Thank God every single day for POTUS Trump.
We tried to tell everyone!
@Miss Kitty — It’s amazing just how very little we need to shop! For the past several years, the first place I hit is Goodwill. I’ve found amazing, new, brand-name women’s clothing there. They also have an annual “Bling” sale, if you really want to splurge.
Tools – Craigslist, NextDoor, pawn shops, or rental
Produce – local farmers’ markets, U-pick (for canning)
Groceries – Cash-n-Carry (Associated Grocers) (very low prices)
Put the rest in your IRA/Stock portfolio (so you can choose with whom to invest)

Well said! 😉
I went to their website. Here’s the message.
“Due to the unbelievable response to our video supporting police, we are overwhelmed with emails and orders. Please bear with us as we accommodate everyone. The response is something we never imagined. We hope that our LEO’s nationwide know that this positive response shows the appreciation and true support that so many have for them.”
AA, not the Goodwill in the next town from us. Horrible junk. However there are a number of Consignment shops that are seeming to prosper in that same town.
Reminds me that when daughter dearest came in from Seattle for her wedding, she brought a beautifully tailored vintage dress for her rehearsal dinner that she bought in a Seattle resale shop.
Maybe this will help bring back the Mom & POP stores.
Who wants to shop at a business that would just as soon spit at you as sell to you.
PJ — Yes! I completely forgot about consignment! We have a lot of consignment shops, including three or four for really nice home furnishings — furniture, decorating, rugs, etc.
Why pay pull bore for something at a high-end retail store if you can get it new or like new at a consignment?
I don’t know how Goodwill’s logistics work, but their stores in Seattle generally always have really nice (usually new) Nordstrom-quality clothing on the racks. I bought five outfits for my mom last year. Very nice blouses, slacks, and sweaters.
does chazistan have their own time zone?

Thank you, @Zonga. It’s good to be reminded.
Mr PJ^
When a town has a crappy salvation army or goodwill store & several great consignment shops, I have found two reasons.
1 people are taking their donations to the consignment shops
2 so are the truck drivers that pick up donations for the goodwill & salvation army

Patriots ALWAYS pay “their” taxes. Where do you think the trillions of “bail-out” monies go?
Egard also produced an excellent response to Gillette’s pandering anti-man commercial. Time to buy me a watch.

Politicians, this is why I re-registered as an Independent over 30 years ago. Although it hasn’t improved my candidate options one tiny bit at least I don’t lend my number to either group of con-artists.
