The assault weapons ban will now head to the Senate, where the bill is likely to fail.
FOX:
The House of Representatives voted to pass an assault weapons ban Friday evening, with legislators narrowly approving the bill with a 217-213 vote.
The legislation will now head to the Senate, where it’s unlikely to break the filibuster.
Two Republicans, Reps. Brian Fitzpatrick, R-Penn., and Chris Jacobs, R-N.Y., broke with their party to vote yes on the bill. Five Democrats, Rep. Henry Cuellar, D-Texas; Rep. Jared Golden, D-Maine, Rep. Vicente Gonzalez, D-Texas, Rep. Kurt Schrader, D-Oreg., and Rep. Ron Kind, D-Wisc. broke with their party to vote no. more
And now the TRAITOROUS BASTARDS will say this passed with bipartisan support.
There was more bipartisan opposition to this legislation than there was bipartisan support.
Can’t wait to see what twisted definition of assault weapons they come up with. Slingshots are already illegal in some places.
New York and Pennsylvania: please replace these shit weasels.
There are MORE than enough RINO’s in the Senate to insure this garbage passes….and Pedo Joe the Meat Sock will sign it the moment it hits the
Oval Office desk.
Doesn’t fucking matter.
I built them to use on enemies of the Republic, not to turn them in.
What Chumlee said ^^^^^^^
Some of my friends back in the hollars: “They want to take my what?”
Have you ever heard how laughter echoes in the hollars?
paased like a peach pit thru a poodle’s ass
Next up, all firearms are ‘assault weapons’.
Send bachelors.
