Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY), who has been “excommunicated” by the Wyoming Republican Party, “is bracing for defeat” heading into Tuesday’s primary, the Associated Press (AP) warned Thursday.
The AP acknowledged that Cheney could be the eighth Republican to lose her seat after voting to impeach former President Donald Trump in 2021. If Cheney loses her primary bid against Trump-endorsed Harriet Hageman on Tuesday, only two pro-impeachment Republicans would remain in Congress after the vote. Cheney’s defeat would solidify the 2021 impeachment vote as one of the most career-wrecking votes in congressional history.
Four pro-impeachment members opted to retire and not compete in a GOP primary, and with Rep. Peter Meijer (R-MI) and Rep. Tom Rice’s (R-SC) primary ousters, the two impeachment Republicans who could remain are Reps. David Valadao (R-CA) and Dan Newhouse (R-WA). The impeachment Republicans who did not run in 2022 are Reps. Adam Kinzinger (R-IL), Anthony Gonzalez (R-OH), Fred Upton (R-MI), and John Katko (R-NY).
Polling shows that Cheney is losing to Hageman in the GOP primary polls by 57 points. Previous polling has shown Cheney losing by 30 points, 28 points, and 22 points.

Even winning by 1 point against Cheney is still a win. I hope she’s feeling the pain….. we don’t need any more miscalculatinbg Rhinos in the party, they’ve done their damage now it’s down time for them. I’m enjoying the $hit show.
I wonder if her zealotry is based in trying to protect her daddy from something. It’s been a long time since he’s been in any position of power so I think it’s doubtful. But something is driving her to be a Benedict Arnold.
Cheney is pissed that the raid on Mar-A-Lago didn’t happen two weeks later. She may have been light brown toast before, but she is a piece of charcoal now.

I live in WY. I await the election results.
The image of POS biden regularly campaigning to live crowds of 30 or less (before the covid19 farce) assured me there was no way in Hell that talking pile of feces would defeat President Trump in an election (and I know that he did NOT, beyond ALL doubt).
So unless and until Hageman wins this primary, I remain firm in my belief that our government is criminal and ALL possiblilities of fraud, theft, and ridiculous lies are possible.
