ATF Agent Quits, Speaks Out on Agency Politicized by Democrats

Tatum Report:
The Biden regime’s politicizing federal agencies is endemic, and the ATF has not been excluded from the taint. In August, TTR wrote about an ATF agent allegedly snapping photos of gun store’s customer purchase records.

Now, in America’s 1st Freedom, the NRA’s Mark Chestnut tells the story of resigned AFT Agent Brandon M. Garcia.

After 18 years, Garcia decided he could no longer be a part of such a politicized agency.

Agent Garcia wrote a resignation letter explaining why he was leaving the ATF. He “highlighted the Biden administration’s weaponization and politicization of the agency….”

He pointed out morale hasn’t been this low since “2013-2016,” when “we had an[other] administration openly criticize law enforcement,” alluding to the Obama/Biden administration.  more

“why did i just get this picture in my head of merrick garland as the little dutch boy putting his fingers in holes in a dike”

If that “dike” is a little boy’s rear end, then you are correct.

  3. After the 2024 election POTUS (either Trump or DeSantis, along with Congress) need to form a commission (similar to the 70’s Church Commission) to investigate politicization of govt entities and root out and prosecute those responsible.

These people feel further empowered the longer this exists and will end with the destruction of our republic.

  4. All current bureaucrats need to be fired and the DOJ and all fed law enforcement agencies need to be disbanded and re-formed as smaller agencies with laws on the books they are not to be allowed to become any larger than…what smarter people than I decide.

  5. I appreciate former agent Gacia’s decision and principles BUT the ATF has been an abusive, rogue agency from day one. Look up the raid on a man named Ken Ballew, for example. And remember the ATF ordering gun dealers in Texas, as I remember, to violate the laws during the obama years and his “Fast and Furious” gun running scam. In my former work life, I had encounters with several area ATF agents and a couple from the DC level. About one half the locals were decent LEOs who respected us, our rights and the Constitution. My (and our) experiences with the DC types was different. They were openly, sneeringly contemptuous of us, our rights and the Constitution. They were NOT anyone one would want to turn his back on. Accounts are available on the ‘net.
