Attorney: FBI Informant Was Blocked by Obama Administration from Testifying on Uranium One Deal

Breitbart:

An American businessman who went undercover for the FBI was blocked during the Obama administration from telling Congress what he knew about Russia’s efforts to influence the Clintons’ and Obama administration decisions, according to a report.

Attorney Victoria Toensing, a former Reagan Justice Department official and former chief counsel of the Senate intelligence committee, told The Hill that she is trying to get the Trump administration or the FBI to free her client to talk.

“All of the information about this corruption has not come out,” Toensing said.

She said her client possesses “specific allegations that Russian executives made to him about how they facilitated the Obama administration’s 2010 approval of the Uranium One deal and sent millions of dollars in Russian nuclear funds to the U.S. to an entity assisting Bill Clinton’s foundation.”

At the time, Hillary Clinton was secretary of state and serving on the government panel that approved the deal, the lawyer said. Bill Clinton accepted $500,000 Russian speaking fees in 2010 and collected millions more in donations from parties with a stake in the Uranium One deal. The Clintons and the Obama administration have denied that had any influence on the deal.

But Toensing said her client can also testify that FBI agents made comments to him suggesting political pressure was exerted, and that there was specific evidence that could have scuttled approval of the Uranium One deal if it became public.  more here

  1. Sessions knows all about this and still he said yesterday that Mueller had integrity and was an honorable guy.

Stephen Miller, then a senior political advisor to the Trump campaign read out passages from Peter Schweizer’s book, “Clinton Cash”, at several of the rallies in 2015 and 2016. As early as April, 2015, the NYT’s ran this piece which (shockingly) details the players and the money path:
    https://www.nytimes.com/2015/04/24/us/cash-flowed-to-clinton-foundation-as-russians-pressed-for-control-of-uranium-company.html

When in October or November of last year, Trump said he would not pursue further investigation and prosecution of Clinton (“too big to jail”), I and many others were stunned, particularly since his amazing comment about her “being in jail” during one of his debates with her.

As I listened to this all unfold (again) last night I can truthfully say I’ve never been this angry — ever — at what is surely one of the biggest scandals since Tea Pot Dome. And if you aren’t familiar with TPD (1921-23), it, too, involves bribery, kickbacks, money laundering and national security of critical war time resources.

I have a sudden urge to go to D.C. and chain myself to the fence outside the Justice building while holding a BIG sign. How much longer are we going to put up with this?

  2. …meant to add: “Clinton Cash” — in which Schweizer details the Uranium One deal (and I think this is the source of the NYT’s piece, or at least large chunks of it).

  3. The Clintons were so successful mostly because they were fanatics about collecting information on people. Not just illegal activity but info that would be embarrassing to people. They used that info so that heads would look the other way while they committed crimes. It appears that Sessions must have something hanging over his head.

  4. There is precious little time left for half measures. It’s why I’m so glad Bannon is out there getting people focused. Trump is doing his best but he has surrounded himself with vipers feeding him bad information. It’s a mystery to me why there are still so many holdovers still in positions to harm efforts to fix.

  5. Same ole, same ole …
Different faces (feces?), same old tune.

“We have to make sure this never happens again.”
    “We shouldn’t be pointing fingers.”
“It’s political to try to place blame.”
“There was no INTENTION at the Clinton Foundation to corruption.”
“How was Secretary (of State) Clinton supposed to follow EVERY LITTLE DONATION to that Foundation?”
“Obola was playing golf … he read about it in the paper … just like you did.”
    “Corruption? What corruption?”

    izlamo delenda est …

  6. i’m convinced jeff sessions cannot read.

where are all the indictments ?

mueller is not investigating anything, he is destroying evidence of all this pay to play before it can be acted upon.
