TheHill: A South American airline issued an alert to its employees to be on the lookout for a former Guantanamo Bay detainee who was resettled in Uruguay and is believed to have traveled to Brazil recently.
The alert from Avianca Airlines, published by Argentinean news web portal Infobae and confirmed as authentic Monday by The Associated Press, tells employees Jihad Ahmed Mustafa Dhiab may be using a fake passport and that they should contact the authorities if they encounter him.
“Based on information received by the division of antiterrorism, we ask everyone that if they detect the presence of [Dhiab] in Brazilian territory, immediately contact Federal Police or the [airline’s] security agency,” the alert says, in Portuguese.
Dhiab, a Syrian native, was sent to Uruguay in 2014 after being held at Guantanamo for 12 years. He was among a number of detainees who launched hunger strikes in protest of their detention. more
They are looking in the wrong place. He was summoned to the WH to receive a medal from the resident . The WH was sending AF One for him, but Helliar needed it.
As him being a forger for ISIS, I STILL say his fingers should have been broken and allowed to reset crooked, before him being released.
