AZ: Watch Biased Reporter Squirm When Candidate Kari Lake Exposes the Truth About Him to Entire World

Western Journal:

Republican Arizona gubernatorial candidate and former popular Phoenix TV news anchor Kari Lake was more than prepared to shred the questions of a biased, left-wing reporter during a recent interview.

Lake left her job at KSAZ-TV earlier this year after 22 years as anchor. She’d hosted Arizona’s most popular broadcast each evening for years, and probably knows Arizona’s media landscape better than anyone. In March, she walked away from her job and the false narratives, misleading stories, glaring omissions and pro-Democratic Party slant that has taken over media, even at the local level.

“Sadly, journalism has changed a lot since I first stepped into a newsroom, and I’ll be honest: I don’t like the direction it’s going,” Lake bravely said. “The media needs more balance in coverage and a wider ranger of viewpoints represented in every newsroom at every level and in each position.”

There was no way the Phoenix area’s left-wing reporters would forgive Lake for daring to share how swampy their industry is. Once Lake announced last month she was running for governor as a Republican, some of these dishonest people probably couldn’t wait to get a crack at her.

One of them did. Needless to say, when Lake sat down for an interview with biased, left-wing AZ Family late last month, she was prepared for them to go negative. more here

  1. I know a lot of Former democRATS the ones that have seen the light, and I think of them like being an EX-Smoker…they absolutely cannot stand the smell of cigarette smoke, as with converted Conservatives cannot stand to hear the liberal’s BULLSHIT or their policies.

  2. Good for her! And frankly I wouldn’t have voted for GW Bush if I knew what I do now about him, his scuzzy loser globalist family, Cheney and all the rest of it. Frankly people evolving and being able to change their mind is who we need in charge. Plus a lot of people donate for business reasons (like Trump) and donations are hardly the be all of what someone is about.

  3. Doc makes a good point. When you’ve experienced how shitty your former ‘side’ was, you don’t wanna go back.

I’m more suspicious of a guy who is already Republican. Like that asshole in Ohio, Portman.

  4. I’m not from Arizona and know little about the candidates, I have no dog in this fight, but what I like:
She knows the business and the interviewers, she’s not to be trifled with. Good, it’s encouraging to see a republican candidate with a spine.

  5. I would trust her before I would any life long RINO…Look at our Senator…you know, the one that dresses like a hooker and marches to the beat of her own drum. Although she’s a Democrat (by party) she has a tendency to stand apart, and she’s turned out to be more conservative than that RINO POS jeff flake she replaced!

  6. I was a Democrat up until about 35 years ago. I started looking at then and what they were doing and decided it was wrong and I was wrong for blindly going along with it. I looked at the Republican party at that point and decided they were no better and, in fact, worse for rolling over for decades under the facade of “conservatism”. I’m an Independent. Not that it makes much difference. You still have to vote for one of them.

  7. Journos do this all the time to Republicans and Conservatives. They never come out of the gate with a question, but instead start with a two minute attack statement on the main smear they wish to get across, and when the interviewee won’t take the bait and tries to move on to something relevant, the journo keeps pounding his one talking point over and over and over. This dickhead was only trying to get video clips for Democrat campaign ads smearing her as opportunistic and unreliable to conservatives. She shouldn’t have given him the time of day.

  8. Doc……we’re not noted for our fashion sense in Arizona. I myself only button the top button of long sleeve shirts and I wear beanies low, almost covering my eyes.

I still vote like a normal person.

  9. She had that clown back on his heels within the first minute. He lost on control of the interview at that point and was furtive and defensive.
He’ll be picking shrapnel out of his ass for some time to come.

  10. I think she said she grew up a conservative. My parents were Republicans so it was very easy to change when it made sense! I voted for Obama once in a primary and then that was the end of it. I love President Trump and the MAGA movement and have become pro-life and all of it.

  11. I was a Secular Democrat from birth (political inheritance), but it was only in reflection I could see that the way in which I lived my life was wholly conservative, despite my confused beliefs and sporadic voting record. IOW, I was a classical “lo-fo Democrat”. I would have confused the Federalist Papers with the Pentagon Papers.

Churchill is attributed with saying: “If you’re under 40 and aren’t a liberal you haven’t a heart. If you’re over 40 and a liberal, you haven’t a brain.”

Then when #1 Daughter started middle school it so happened that Hillary Clinton was running for president and I decided it was important for our child to understand how important individual participation in our Republic was to its survival (even that was a conservative motivation). The story is too long to repeat and would actually make a really good book. Long story, short, we voted for John McCain in ’07. Hated to do it for obvious reasons, but we couldn’t vote Democrat — ever.

Fast forward to 2016 and Trum’s campaign. There was someone here (who shall not be named) who tried to drag me through the mud by accusing me of being a closet Progressive because I’d already shared the above story at some point, here. I know what it feels like to have someone try to kneecap you just because you support a candidate they hate (this person was a Cruz supporter), and they’ll do ANYTHING to discredit you. That’s exactly the angle the guy was using againt Lake.

Curiously enough, it’s those who cannot stop or slow down long enough to reevaluate why they think what they think and maybe change their minds because of that reflection who should be questioned — Republican or Democrat.

  12. It’s only hot outside! But I can tall you it does wonders for the arthritis! Do you mean Jimmy K’a on Foothill? I’m old and don’t drive after dark. So I’ll have to know where YOU are coming from from to make this work.

  13. I’d probably be coming from Sonora.

Otherwise I’d drive down 93, to the 60,to the 10 to the 95.Then I gotta’ hammer a Mongol and get a taco.

or maybe it’s a Bandito….I’m good either way. Not like my hammer has eyes.

  14. Dennis look like he drinks – heavily. He’s got hangover bags packed under his eyes.
That might be what it takes to be a leftist hack “reporter”/”journalist” who hates the job. She took over the “interview” and made him squirm like he had DTs. Haahaa!
