ET: Adding to the barrage of criticism of prominent Baltimore Rep. Elijah Cummings (D-Md.), President Donald Trump recently said “billions and billions” in federal assistance to the city has been “stolen.”
Plenty of federal dollars flow to Baltimore every year, but what happens to all of it is hard to determine, since the city has long had a problem tracking its dollars.
“What Elijah Cummings should do is, he should take his [House] Oversight Committee, bring them down to Baltimore, and invest all of them and really study the billions and billions of dollars that’s been stolen,” Trump told reporters upon his departure from the White House on July 30.
He suggested the same should be done for “other Democratic-run cities.” more

Investigate Elijah Cummings, his wife, and everyone related to them. You’ll find most of the money.
That cash is probably in Switzerland by now and untraceable.
It’s the DOJ that should be sending down its fraud squad along with a grand jury and a team of US Attorneys from midwest cities with a pad of pre-signed subpoenas. Not all the FBI have been compromised and they could see this as a chance to restore some of their honor, besides with midwest US Attorneys looking over their shoulders it’s all the more reason to dig harder. Oh sure, the Democrats will scream and Cummings will shit his depends and Pelosi will howl and the Baltimore City Council will start packing and checking Trivago but it should take too long to find the first indications of massive fraud and misuse of American taxpayer money. Then the media can’t ignore it.
