BPR:
Rep. Jim Banks (R-Ind.), a member of the House Armed Services Committee and chairman of the Republican Study Committee, officially put U.S. Cyber Command on notice with a letter advising them to preserve documents related to the Department of Defense awarding a contract to NewsGuard.
The $750,000 contract was awarded to the Pentagon’s “Misinformation Fingerprints” project in April, according to Breitbart. That project is described as a “catalog of known hoaxes, falsehoods and misinformation narratives that are spreading online” which seems to dovetail with the Department of Homeland Security setting up a “Disinformation Governance Board.”
Banks addressed the letter to Gen. Paul M. Nakasone, who is the commander of U.S. Cyber Command. He charged that the Pentagon’s contract basically used taxpayer money to squelch political speech and called it “un-American” and an “abuse of taxpayer dollars.” more
Oh, and this is just a movie and “White Hats” are in control… My ass!
What in the world were they thinking to even propose, much less conduct, such activity?
Was it a strongly worded letter, by chance? Because the General’s double-digit IQ only responds to amplitude.
(Not this General, however. I only respond in the frequency domain.)
General Malaise: you need to modulate your frequency. Or you’ll go blind.
What are they thinking?
Nothing concerning the Constitution, Rights and Freedom.
What’s next?
The armed black clad, FBI, ATF, Homeland security and military enforcing and arresting those who are spreading perceived hoaxes, falsehoods and misinformation.
Shades of Nazi Germany.
Congress should be shaking in their boots, they would be the first prosecuted for the lies, hoaxes and propaganda.
Remember Barky’s “Attack Watch” back in 2011, supposedly to stop the spread of “misinformation”? You can’t convince me that Barky’s not running the Biden show now. And you can’t teach an old dog-eater new tricks.
