Breitbart: Monday on his nationally syndicated talk show, Glenn Beck accused Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump of creating a conservative version of Black Lives Matter.
Beck said, “He’s making a new group of Black Lives Matter. He’s making a new group of people that so distrust and hate the system that they will buy anything. It was a rigged election, the media ought to go to jail, and it’s these Republicans, and not look at whose leading that. OK. Same thing. Same thing. They start with a good reason like Black Lives Matter.”
He added, “It will galvanize them and when Hillary Clinton goes awry, which she will, those people are going to be our — I don’t want to say Black Lives Matter because I hope they won’t get violent, but maybe they will. I don’t know.”
SNIP: Let me get this straight. Even though I supported Cruz during the primaries, just like Beck did, I am somehow a Conservative BLM because I support Trump and I don’t want Hillary to win?
Before the race even got started we were all complaining about the GOP RINOs and the fact they did nothing about voter fraud and didn’t fight back against media bias- just as Beck complained- Then, we were okay in his eyes. But not now, because of Trump?

Gee, Glenn. you didn’t start the schtick about trusting no one and such until after you gained national traction. Up until then, people were buying what you were selling, without a lot of questions asked, and you were riding that wave as far and as long as you could. Then people did start verifying, questioning and not trusting you.
I was reflecting on this while reading the other post about him yesterday(?).
I started listening to him OTR, I think back in ’05. Truck driving and talk radio is a demographic match made in heaven. I was intrigued because he cited and expanded upon the fiscal irresponsibility of the Bush administration – in between the random crying jag about something or other. That put me off a bit, but I would tune back in regularly.
Then came the Age of Obama, and Beck’s skids couldn’t have been any more greased. He got exposure via a spot on CNN. He left CNN, a feather in any conservative’s cap. Then he did the education bit on FOX, which was well done. Then 8/28, which evoked the best of our countryment. He was saying all the right things for a good while, except for a few glaring missteps (trashing Gingrich was most memorable). Before running off the teddy bear rails, he became much too big, gaining too much traction for someone who regularly ripped off other people’s words, images and ideas. People tend to notice these things, Mr. Beck, and start holding you to account. Not very pleasant, is it? Not nearly as unpleasant as being an unattributed and unaccredited source.
The guy grabbed that brass ring, not even knowing he was powering the engine that’s spun himself right off into orbit. It’s really too bad overall. He really did click in to the whole genuine American gestalt at one point. Too bad he’s made of pot metal. Nothing held.
Becks show is getting canceled by i heart radio.
Hope they put Ann Coulter on instead.
