Ben & Jerry’s joins Facebook advertising boycott

WaExaminer: A top ice cream brand is joining a group of companies refusing to advertise with Facebook citing concerns over the tech giant’s policing of abuse.

Vermont brand Ben & Jerry’s announced on Tuesday it would temporarily cease paying advertising to Facebook or the image-based social media platform Instagram after both companies have failed to take “clear and unequivocal actions” to better monitor its services.

  1. Wait……what!? Ohhhhhhhh…… I think I see.
B&J’s isn’t stopping because they’re afraid of what FB & Igram might do to them……..
B&J is stopping because FB & Igram isn’t going FAR ENOUGH to “stop racism and hate”.

  2. I have NEVER eaten that ice cream.

    Did I say NEVER?

Breyers has always been the go to for us…or maybe Good Humor for the ice cream sandwiches…

Or ‘Italian Ices’…anyone remember those? They came in a cup with a lid.

  3. Butt my favorite Ben and Jerry’s ice cream that is named after my Petey B that my unbleached elastic starfish can’t get enough of is Ben and Jerry’s “Petey B’s Frozen Schlong Sundae!”

  4. So another liberal run company seeks to implement the mark of the beast. I stopped buying B&J ice cream a decade ago when I found out they were liberals.

  5. Who cares?
I never liked their ice cream.
    Overrated POS.
Their activism is even worse then their so-called icecream.
Stop buying their products, stop giving them the attention they seem so desperate for with their lame virtue signaling.
