Biden Wants To Tax Every Mile You Drive In Your Car

Transportation Secretary Pete Butticheeks wants to plug a monitoring device into your car. The feds will know how much you’re driving, where you’re going, how fast you’re going, and where you are at any given moment.

WLT: The Biden regime wants to invade your privacy and tax you even more.

Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg recently announced that the Biden administration plans to issue a vehicle mileage tax to help fund future multitrillion-dollar infrastructure proposals.

The tax will not only hurt American’s pockets but also take away some of their privacy too.

Just think, the only way to have information on how many miles a person drives is to implement some kind of chip into the vehicle that would collect data and send it to the government. more

  1. Why don’t we tax political parties?

    Like, a lot.

You want to set up a group based on shared political ideology to control our system of government?…10 billion dollars. A year.

  2. We just drove up to our bunker…up near Lake George…210 miles and counting… just this weekend…almost 500 miles when said and done round trip…

  4. Simply amazing–once they wanted to put a device in my car, suddenly I stopped driving. At all. It’s like I never leave home. The device doesn’t record any miles (because I ripped the f*cking thing out).

  5. I don’t see how this would do anything but put more “imaginary” money into a “general” fund that the (imaginary) guvmint could “borrow” several times over and spend on themselves.
PLUS; They gotta be losing millions of gas tax dollars on electric vehicles.
PLUS, PLUS; I bet the gas tax would still be charged and probably raised due to new costs for monitoring your miles driven.

  6. Between this and the GPS tracking on smartphones, they will know where you are at any time. Or predict where you will go, based on past trips.

“Big Brother” is riding shotgun. Or would be, if you were allowed to be anywhere near one.

I think my lefties have stopped watching the news or following any of the idiocy that is taking place. Trump is gone. Masked, vaxxed and its spring. Time to load the cycles onto the back of the Prius and enjoy life once again.

That is exactly what they are after. Limiting human mobility.

Covid1984 was exactly the pill. Limited Flight, shipping, boarder crossing, etc. Health Passports are next and one day A mileage credit where a human will be given an allotment of miles they can travel before a tax kicks in.

Electric Cars limit your mobility due to range issues. They can slow down you charge rate, reverse draw from your vehicle if connected to the smart grid, very different from gasoline.

Mobility allows you to leave California & go to the Dakotas.

Canuckistan is doing it differently but SSDD.
Turdeau has another increase in the carbon tax on they way. On April 1st it goes from $30/ton to $40/ton and my asshole countrymen will wake up that morning and see another $0.08 per liter. (0.32 cents per gallon)

Global Scam with Canada & the USA swimming in OIL they do not want to sell.

  9. Like Crackerbaby stated we are already paying tax per gallon… so, uhhh….

Do we get a credit for petrol used in generators and other non-road equipment? Sure as hell don’t. Get fucked going in the door, get fucked going out the door.

At least the farmers and boaters don’t pay road tax for red diesel.

  10. ‘Biden’ doesn’t want to do shit. He’s not running anything. His handler, Susan Rice, is.

This is a direct attack on suburbia and rural America. Next, will be bullets from our ‘woke’ military.

Can we get the discussion going on secession, before we have to start dying?

Freedom to travel and privacy are one of the cornerstones of this nation.

  12. Didn’t they try this in the 80s too?

I remember mileage being a part of figuring out your taxes for a bit there. It fell apart quickly.

Just don’t comply. Make them do the work. That’ll put an end to it by itself. Lazy rat bastards.

Remember, your tax return is a contract. One you are signing voluntarily while under threat.

If you’ve ever had late taxes show up on your credit report, the listed reason for the debt is “By contract”.

    Quite revealing.

Actually, there is an easier way that is already hooked up to state computers – in Texas at least.

The required yearly inspection records your mileage.

I use it myself to tell the insurance companies to lower my rate if my guesstimate was off when I purchased the car.

  15. If it happens, its going to a clusterf*** for the 1st gen devices, because some computer nerd will find a way to hack it to show no mileage, all the while driving anywhere he damn well pleases.

  17. Good luck putting a “chip” into our 1969 GMC Flatbed 3/4 ton pickup. Or…1971 Chevy 3/4 ton long bed.

Methinks the market for older vehicles is going to go up.

It is all about making rural people pay for being conservatives and forcing everyone into the rat’s nests of the urban hells that the Dems control
