NYP- Comedian Bill Maher has tested positive for COVID-19, despite being fully vaccinated.
The political humorist said he “feels fine” but decided to halt the taping of his talk show “Real Time with Bill Maher” on Friday, according to Variety.
No other staff or crew members on the program have tested positive, the outlet reports.
The news comes hours after New York Yankees shortstop Gleyber Torres became the latest member of the baseball organization to test positive for the virus, despite also being inoculated. read more

FWIW. the government may equate testing positive with getting sick, but I don’t.
I consider getting sick from it to be showing at least some symptoms of having it, especially if they are serious enough to merit some kind of medical attention.
IMO, no symptoms = not sick.
When I was younger vaccines were for preventing diseases. But back then you had to drive your car yourself, you reheated food on your stove or in the oven, you were living the high life if your phone cord reached all the way across the room and you got up from your seat to change the channel on the television. Progress I guess.

With a 97% effective rate, it was just his luck to be in the (un)fortunate 3% group? Yeah right. My understanding is that the jab doesn’t prevent covid, it just minimizes the symptoms. God only knows how many more have/had it but don’t know it.
