Bill Maher Said Something Pretty Racist Again

DC:

Look, it’s Friday, it’s almost 5:00, and I’m all outraged out for the week. I just can’t get too worked up about a notorious racist who will inevitably get away with it yet again because he’s a good little liberal.

Here’s Bill Maher’s latest bit of dumb racial humor:

  1. LOL — I didn’t think this was racist at all. I just thought he’d gotten feedback on the noko situation while having his nails done, s’all. Who knows where the women are from?
But if they are of Korean descent, it seems the worst he was being was un-P.C. Why do we tip-toe around this kind of thing, anyway? There are certain demographics that, if a survey was conducted, we’d find fit the so-called stereotypes. That’s why Matt Groening’s (spelling?) The Simpsons was so funny and it’s what has kept South Park running.

  2. …I’d take it one further and say, so what? If the women are of Korean descent, then no harm, no foul. Does it matter where they work? No. If he’d said, concerning something like BLM, “My mechanic is worried.” Would we be upset, imagining the fellow is black? Now, who is being the racist?

  3. I’m with you on this AA.
It’s akin to dumb blonde jokes, the precursor to “everything racist”. I’m blonde, but certainly not an airhead, so they’re funny.
Same with Pollock, Guidos, black, dumb women/men jokes. If the shoe fits…. if not, enjoy the humor and move on.
Geesh, ppl who’ve been strong armed into PC reeducation camps have forgotten laughter is good for the soul.

  4. I thought it was funny……………….But, I don’t watch Maher.
    I find hid condescension offensive.

I am a New Jersey Italian. Please, bring me your best offensive NJ Italian jokes. I love it and am not offended.

  5. It’s racist because he’s getting his gooks mixed up: Vietnamese do nails, Koreans run restaurants, Chinese do the laundry, and the Japs make radios.

(The above used to be funny in the 70s when we could all laugh at each other, we’ve regressed since then)
