JTN: Against a key deadline in the Mississippi Legislature on Tuesday, the Senate Education Committee approved several bills that are now headed for a full chamber vote.
The day is the last one for bills to advance from committees. Any bill that doesn’t receive committee approval is dead for the session, which is scheduled to conclude in April.
The committee approved a measure that would allow armed educators and staff in schools. Another would provide extra funding for school districts going to a non-traditional, year-round calendar. A third bill would allow public schools to compete against teams from home schools and private schools in extracurricular activities such as sports. MORE
Democrats love school shootings. It’s what they live for. All that fist pounding and finger pointing. Te evil gun shit spews out of everyone of their mouths. Lots of mileage. They’ll try and stop this.
It won’t be long before they fabricate a connection between arming teachers and white supremacy, if it hasn’t already happened.
I don’t need a gun, everything is a weapon!
noisy weapons draw attention to oneself.

Back when I lived in Mississippi (63 – 67) the kids brought their rifles and shotguns to school during hunting season. Sometimes they hunted before school and just carried everything with them to school rather than going home first.
Different world.

If it hasn’t happened already, people will make up a link between armed educators and white supremacy.
