If Trump and Billy Bush are ridiculed and held to a higher standard for the words spoken and never acted upon, then why is Hillary not held accountable and responsible for her words and putting those words into action? I read that the station did not release these, so it’s fair to assume Bush himself did this thinking he can apologize his way out of his part in it. Is this the same NBC who produced and aired “Bodies In Motion”, a thinly-veiled soft-core porn video of jiggling female Olympic athelete’s various body parts? Without any explanation for its content or context, NBC produced a highly-suggestive video of women athelete’s booties, boobies and other parts bouncing in slo mo.
Then you have their regular weeknight line-up over the years. You can’t convince me NBC hasn’t employed people who’ve used egregious and misogynist language on a regular basis or haven’t portrayed those things in the many tee vee shows and movies they’ve aired.
If NBC is going down this road, they need to see it through to its completely illogical conclusion and the network head needs to apologize to its entire viewing audience for the offensive content of the shows, films and commercials it airs and has aired and then they need to go off the air.
But, just like killery and billery, this isn’t about truth or substance, it’s about appearances.
