  1. Musk has supported Trump and worked to reduce Waste, fraud and abuse. 100Million U.S. Citizens are grateful.
I’m very Disappointed with how Trump has handled his objection to the Reconciliation Bill.
Saying it is bad, is half assed assessment. Give us specifics (besides the EV Subsidies which would have been a conflict of interest). Did the house leadership fail to include greater DOGE cuts Bill?

Where the BEEF ELON? Are you simply Butt hurt over the Green New Deal issue?
I expected much more from Musk, he’s bright guy, but pulled a dumb assed, BS Campaign to lie about the reconciliation Bill.

  2. I’d like to see Elon’s plan to convince most of congress to write/vote for what he wants without them asking for goodies for themselves.

There will never be enough cuts, terminations or the will to lower taxes to the point where we won’t mind them. Because even the congressmen complaining about spending will have their hands out, too.

  3. “Funny that congress limits the presidency to 8 years, but congress can sit in their seats until they stop breathing.”

Well the dumbass voters keep re-electing them, so blame them.

  4. I don’t think Musk has thought this thru very well. Yesterday he said he was shutting down the Dragon program, in effect smashing his toys and going home. Today the headlines say he is opening up to a reconciliation with Trump. Well they may patch things up, but it will never be the same for Musk. The other factor is Musk’s companies. When employees hear he is shutting down a huge Space X project, what must be going thru their minds is “Who the F are we working for?” This could have huge ramifications for Musk and his companies if the employees loose confidence in him and in all probability I think they will. If they had concerns about him entering politics yesterday, they’re updating resumes today.

  5. ‘Come, come!’ said Gandalf. ‘We are all friends here. Or should be; for the laughter of Mordor will be our only reward, if we quarrel.

  6. I dunno… I think when you are as rich and accomplished as these two, you may get bored with the usual challenges of life (or pay others to take them on). Trolling the media and the sheeple with a fake break up may be their idea of fun. They have the biggest, bestest toys for it: the bully pulpit of the Presidency and X/Twitter. And, compared to the games the billionaires in the WEF play at Davos, it’s good clean fun.

  7. I notice that Elon, in his big snit, has not taken away Ukraine’s Starlink access. That is too bad. I was hoping we could get something out of this divorce besides a social media circus.

  8. If the Pulitzer judges awarded a prize for newsletter brilliance, it would go to Jeff Childers for a single paragraph in this morning’s Coffee & Covid 2025 regarding yesterday’s news ‘cycle’ –

To the delirious corporate media, the contretemps was white-hot opium, an all-hands moment, with mainstream journalists and op-editors hitting the conflict crack pipe and instantly abandoning every other story in the world with their eyes rolling back in their heads in wild ecstasy and sensory overload in drug-addled worship to their defamatory volcano gods.

  9. Musk is a smart man. But human. Musk has lots of money, but perhaps SAfrican children shoulda learned the lesson of Icarus.

Trump has ABSOLUTELY more life experiences. And Trump is POTUS, not Musk.

Musk is doing the old FAFO. Hissyfits only work up to a point, then the hammer must come down.

  10. ^^or was it Zelindsey and Pompedo who got Kiev punished, anonymous? IMO they at least helped with the Shake & Bake, albeit unintentionally. And the retribution has only just begun.

  11. We’re on the road up in Yreka/Fort Jones are and just passed a Cyber Truck. The wife says, you got to hand it to Elon. Now he’s got all the conservatives wanting to wreck his cars. Honestly I think that’s what it’s all about. A fragile little ego.

  12. Something about this squabble doesn’t ring true to me. Musk and Trump seem like they’d be good poker players and I wonder if this is some sort of long con.
