  1. @geoff — You might find this worthwhile. It is the whole Divine Liturgy of St. John Chrysostom, sung/chanted in English. It’s quite long but here it’s divided into a nice playlist.

I have a different recording of this on a thumb drive plugged into my car’s audio system. When I find myself in hectic traffic it calms me down and puts me in a much better frame of mind!

  2. My favorite Christian musician is the Catholic monk John Michael Talbot whose music I have been listening to since the early 1970’s when he was with his brother Terry Talbot were part of one of the most underrated bands of the 70’s Mason Proffit. His album The God of Life is my favorite when I want to listen to good music that helps me draw closer to God. Particularly the last song on the album Father Make Me Holy. I’m also a huge fan of Michael Card’s Christian music as well. Both of them are excellent musicians and their music always draws me closer into the presence of God when I’m listening to them.
