Bluff Called: Ron DeSantis Wins Big Over Cruise Line’s ‘Vaccine Passports’ – IOTW Report

Bluff Called: Ron DeSantis Wins Big Over Cruise Line’s ‘Vaccine Passports’

RedState: Gov. Ron DeSantis of Florida keeps stacking wins. He did so again after news broke yesterday evening that Royal Caribbean, one of the top two, major cruise lines that operate out of Florida, will not require so-called “vaccine passports” for passengers. This comes after DeSantis used the state’s power over the ports to ban the practice.

While many suggested the cruise lines would succeed by simply moving to another state, that doesn’t appear to be the case.

The Miami Herald is a far-left newspaper that has spent a lot of time lately fluffing proven liar and conspiracy theorist Rebekah Jones, so you know it pained them so much to report this. I’d expect a lot of hysteria to emanate from this decision, with plenty of people accusing DeSantis of trying to kill people. In other words, it’s another day ending in “y.” more here

  1. Just move to another state?
They clearly have no idea what it takes to build and maintain the proper piers, the depth of the harbors, the available vendors to supply the ships, etc.

I’d like to see DeSantis run for POTUS some day.

  2. Like to see him as Trump VP or
what the hay Prez in 2024.
I have cruise ships 11 miles line of sight
from house. They come in regularly in Galveston,TX.
There is no talk about “mark of the beast” passports
    here in Texas.

  3. Hold on a minute. From the Miami Herald:

“Royal Caribbean International’s sister brand Celebrity Cruises (both owned by Royal Caribbean Group) is still requiring all passengers 16 years old or older be vaccinated on its seven-night Caribbean cruises that are restarting from Port Everglades on June 26.”

Looks like it’s not quite time to pop the cork.

What State(s) would that be? California is screwed, Texas maybe but Galveston wasn’t a major cruiseline port. Only a couple of cruise lines operated out of there. Princess I bet regrets putting money into a pier in San Francisco. Located right in the heart of poop lane. Seattle is screwed as far as people jumping on a ship. So, do tell me which State – I will, there isn’t one. My cruising days are pretty much over – been there done that.

  5. It’s amazing! Just doing a competent job honestly and keeping promises can get you millions of supporters!
Too bad most politicians will never take a lesson from the example demonstrated by this governor and Trump!
