It was hydraulic fluid, but still.
“…due to fuel leaking from its right landing gear.”
Psyop.
DEI mechanics / Buttigieg? or are the WEF & company trying to destroy Boeing… Both?
Maintenance issue. Probably.
Yeah, but the pilot (and ground crew) were highly trained, certified individuals.
Right??
@Barry,
Pilots, yes. Ground service crew, not so much.
The ground service crew wuz probably licking the tarmac for some kind of weird high…
I don’t want to fly on an airplane that sounds like ‘boing’
I really wonder what’s going on. I don’t trust that these are just DEI or any kind of maintenance, or production issues. These days, my mind goes to the most evil choices … sabotage. For whatever reason, someone wants Boeing to fail so they can scoop it up for pennies to make themselves even richer than they are, or they want them to fail for some other reason. OR, they intended on a more serious result – crash and death.
@Claudia,
Operational errors are most of these, so not “Boeing’s fault” as such. Yes, some pretty damning stuff so they aren’t ones to brag.
It’s been awhile since reading the morning overnite reports was a daily thing but I’m not sure this represents an uptick in the rate of airplane technical problems or just media hyper focused or distracting us from things that matter more.
@Wild Bill
I remember the Jerry Lewis comedy from the Mid-60s called “Boeing, Boeing”. I think the joke was that pretty “stewardesses” as they were then called, caused a certain response among the male passengers.
I spent decades wondering what the movie title meant, and it finally dawned on me. My interpretation may be wrong, of course. If it is, shame on me for having a dirty mind.
If the guy at the Ten Minute Oil change forgets to reinstall the oil plug you people want to blame the vehicle manufacturer for the engine shitting itself. The stupid is strong around these aircraft issues.
You should be, they. You guys aren’t stupid.

If it’s Boeing I ain’t going.
