The initial incident happened inside a Chick-fil-A in the Back Bay neighborhood, NBC Boston reported:

Boston police Commissioner Michael Cox said the off-duty officer was in the fast food restaurant around 5:30 p.m. when two people ran inside, chased by a man with a knife who was trying to stab them. The officer identified himself as such and ordered the man to drop the knife.

When the man allegedly failed to drop the weapon, the officer shot the man. The man was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead. No one else was hurt.

During a press conference on the street following the incident, Mayor Michelle Wu (D) said, “My condolences and all of our thoughts are with the family of the individual whose life has been lost.”

“And I’m also thinking of all the people who were impacted here today, in one of the busier parts of the city, with this tragedy. MORE

  1. So what was the race of the knife wielder? (Thanks Democrats, you assholes, for making me think this way, this is the world you created).

Sadly, if the dead guy was black, that cop now has a big target on his back and the DA will make it his mission to hang him.

Equally sad, there is a large number of cops, that if put in the same situation and the bad guy was black, would bury himself in his chicken sandwich and not get involved. The Daniel Penny effect is real and tragic.

  2. I think a George Floyd-type mural predominantly displayed on the wall of city hall in honor of the dead guy is in order.

Today’s headline,”Trigger happy cop stands in the way of good samaritan trying to return a knife, dropped from a youth as he was entering Chick-fil-A. Calling Ben Crump.
