14 Comments on CA Town Spends $40,000 For Gun Buyback
They should have passed a law making it illegal to use out of state weapons in California crimes.

Doesn’t “buyback” imply that it was sold by the party buying it back?
By Democrat impeachment definitions, this is bribery and extortion.
12
Any lie to extort and re-distribute taxpayer money.
In the land where pointy fingers, folded napkins, and Pop-Tarts are considered “guns” this should be a windfall.

My thoughts exactly, @Tim.
I wonder if anyone showed up with a drawing of a gun and walked away with $$$.

So they blew money that would pay for an officer to respond to a future armed criminal.

How about a pop tart gun? Or a banana? Go rot you fascist bastards.

Participated in one of those locally (Chicago). On few occasions they hold them where you might consider going without being armed yourself, because that’s the fly in the ointment.
Was the easiest and quickest $400.00 I ever made in my life. All four pieces included crap that where of little to no value (including a “pinfire” pistol that Walmart no longer carries ammo for).
Major Event! Where I supplied four of the 120 plus pieces of garbage “taken off the street.”

400 guns or 0.0001143% of all guns in America.
In lefty math that adds up to a 44% reduction in gun violence.

Mass murderers don’t use crappy guns.

Beats going to the fence or pawn shop to get cash for those stolen guns you don’t need.

Wish they’d have a buyback here, I’ve got a couple of worthless old junk guns in my collection that I’d like to get rid of.

As one of the commenters at the Breibart story stated that it was a great way to get rid of a gun that had been used in a crime as I bet that the city guaranteed anonymity to the sellers. I imagine they’d ballistic check the “good” ones and I’d wonder what they’d think if they found one that was used in a murder or six. Forty grand down the crapper.

Here in Philly, the criminals canvas the “Buy Back” waiting lines outside and offer the sheep twice what the cops are paying inside. Win-Win

A Dunkin’-Donuts-Dozen-Certificate and a $50 Walmart Gift Card just ain’t gonna get the job done in Massachusetts.
Sorry Coppers.
