DC: An error at California’s Department of Motor Vehicles caused more than a thousand people, including some who were not U.S. citizens, to be incorrectly registered to vote, state officials said Monday.
The DMV admitted that a “processing error” at agency field offices resulted in as many as 1,500 people being added to voter rolls between April 23 and Sept. 25.
The widespread glitch was discovered after Randall Marquis, a Canadian citizen and legal U.S. resident living in California, notified the DMV he had received a piece of mail from the agency saying he was registered to vote. In response to Marquis’ alert, the agency ordered an internal audit and discovered hundreds of similar cases.
“This error occurred when DMV technicians processed customer requests at field offices to change voter eligibility responses on driver license applications,” the DMV wrote in a letter to California Secretary of State Alex Padilla, according to the San Francisco Chronicle. “Due to the order in which the change was processed, the customer’s initial responses were retained instead of the correct and revised responses.”
The DMV said the improper registrations were made “through no fault of the customer.” None of the people who were registered to vote due to the error were illegal immigrants, the agency added. read more
How can they call it an error when it was done on purpose?
The error occurred when someone snitched.
California is awash in euphemism.
Control the language; control the thought.
California learned well from their National and Inter-National Socialist ancestors.
izlamo delenda est …
If I remember correctly..LA alone gave out 860,000 Motor Voter
Driver’s Licenses to illegals…and bragged about it.
The red tape that I have to deal with to get anything I am entitled to always amazes me. Maybe I should claim to be illegal.
I think they mean just ONE field office.
Because that’s what’s important. They weren’t “illegal”.

Blame Canada.
@Anonymous, @Cliche;
Maybe that should read “Thank Canada” eh.
it is only and error because they got caught padding the voter roles. Some oF the counties in California have 10-25% more registered voters than there are voting age CITIZENS. So it is not an ERROR. It was deliberate and they got caught. Do one of two things End Registering EVERYONE TO VOTE WHEN THEY GET A DRIVERS LICENSE OR DO NOT GIVE A DRIVERS LICENSE TO ILLEGAL ALIENS.Clear all names from the Voter rolEs after EVERY FEDERAL ELECTION (EVERY TWO YEARS) AND REQUIRE RE-REGISTRATION WITH A VOTER ID. Use facial recognition software to preclude multiple registrations.
If the DMV admitted to 1500, you can be sure the real number is closer to 1,500,000.
“Error” my ass.
