When the California Department of Transportation halted the program due to the global coronavirus pandemic, Sindy and Steve continued to clean the roads, focusing their attention on rural streets with very little traffic.

In just one day last week, they picked up 51 bags of trash. read more

  1. After the most recent heavy wind storm I walked out to the road to check my mail. coming down the road was a crew cab dump truck. One guy driving and three in the back of the crew. One guy walking ahead of the truck tossing sticks off the road to the ROW.

  2. Litter on the California roads has always been bad. The closer you get to any major city, the worse it gets. The whole attitude out there is out of whack. They don’t give two shits about shit on the sidewalks but holy hell, save some stupid ass minnow from extinction. Buy solar panels even though they create hazardous waste when disposed of. Drive electric cars even though the mining process kills third world child laborers.
