Link: Professor Jonathan Anthony Caravello has been indicted by a federal grand jury for throwing a tear gas canister at federal agents.

Cal State University Channel Islands professor Jonathan Anthony Caravello has been indicted by a federal grand jury for throwing a tear gas canister at federal agents conducting a raid at a Glass House Farms marijuana facility in Camarillo, CA. He has been indicted for a violation of 18 USC111, “assaulting, resisting, or impeding certain officers or employees.”

During the raid, Professor Caravello, a philosophy and math lecturer, was detained and arrested. The following day on social media, the California Faculty Association (CFA) claimed Professor Caravallo was “kidnapped” in a reel on Instagram.
