California Gas Tax is a Groundwork for Fraud

KFI: Opponents of the new gas tax hike are still collecting signatures to get a measure on the November ballot repealing the tax hike we’ve been getting phases.

“This is a campaign to repeal a tax on working families that is laying the groundwork for fraud,” says Carl DeMaio, the San Diego Republican who is leading the repeal effort. “If we want to fix our roads, we don’t need to raise taxes to do it.”  Interview

  1. Jerry’s turned this State in’to a giant Social experiment, and the Federal Gov may need to step in. He thinks if people don’t like his ideas they aren’t Woke to the new world, He’s a Cult Leader who’se delutional.

  2. Jerry is excited because (at least he says so) he is leaving a several billion $ surplus in his last year as governor. If so it’s because of the amazing tax increases, which in a couple of years will not be enough so they will have to add more.
I think CA is on fumes right now, and that only because of great geography and Silicon Valley. Still going in the wrong direction, very fast.

  3. Yes, Left Coast Dan, every time taxes are raised California gets a surplus. I have lost track of all the surpluses the state has realized by raising taxes. And I believe that the high speed rail commission has finally calculated the exact cost of the high speed train system, and I also believe in Santa Claus, the Easter Bunny and the Tooth Fairy.

  4. There is a gas tax to pay for repairs to the hi way system. California roads are probably the worst roads in nation. We’re has all the money gone? Use of tax money is subject change without notice!!
