Just The News: California Gov. Gavin Newsom is sending his children to attend modified in-person instruction at a private school even as the public schools that serve his local district remain closed for now.
Newsom’s children are “phasing back into school,” he told media on Friday, “and we are phasing out of our very challenging distance learning that we’ve been doing, so many parents are doing up and down the state.” more here

How are private schools exempt from the same rules applied to the very same circumstances — a school, with teachers and children, presumably sitting at desks, walking hallways, eating lunches, etc?

…the devil doesn’t have many tricks, but he DOES always have a fresh generation to try the SAME tricks on. That’s why so many stories in the Bible sound so familiar, he’s done them before…and before…and before…but all you need to do is convince the kids their elders are stupid and that THEY, the kids, know better (which isn’t hard to do from about 2 on), add to that media insulation, schools not teaching history, and the fact that it is the doom of men that they forget, and here we are all over again…
On Poland: It’s too bad that our WWII vets never wanted to talk about “The War.” They could have shared all the grist and gristle of just how horrific it is when totalitarian gov’ts take power.
