FOX: A 12-year-old boy in California was disheartened when he visited his grandfather’s grave on Veterans Day two years ago. The graveyard was devoid of flags or flowers on any of the veterans’ headstones.
So, Preston Sharp of Redding, Calif., decided to take action.
He set a goal for all of the veterans’ headstones at McDonald’s Chapel in Redding Memorial Park: each would be recognized with a flag and a flower.
But that goal quickly expanded to include the deceased veterans buried at other cemeteries in surrounding counties. MORE
Redding, The heart of the Great State of Jefferson.
There is some hope for that state, some.
NO COMMENT NEEDED! GREAT KID, GREAT AMERICAN!!!!
There’s a 12 year old with more brains, heart, soul and integrity than any Progressive twice his age!
At 12 years of age Barack HUSSEIN Obama was already a stoned, America-hating imbecile hell bent on someday controlling the lives of others.
Kudos the the young man and his parents.
I find it odd that there were no flags on the veterans’ grave-sites. In my local towns, every year the Scout troops helps the local veterans organizations replace/reinstall the flags on all veteran grave-sites the week before Memorial Day.
