California: LA County Releasing Inmates From Jail in Response to Coronavirus Panic

GWP: California suspended visitation in all state prisons last week, including overnight family visits.

Now inmates are being released after civil right’s advocates called for the number of people held in prisons to be reduced over concerns a Coronavirus outbreak could cause chaos.

In addition to releasing inmates, police have also been ordered to cite and release people when possible rather than arresting them. read more

  1. Officials in the State of Washington are discussing what to do with prisoners, as well. How about we put them to work making masks, respirators and bio suits? Bring the equipment to them and let ’em rip until they they croak get infected. And then release them to a world-famous Quarantine Motel in Kent surrounded by barbed wire. When they recover, put them back in ‘prison.’
