Daily Caller: Private waste disposal companies in California are rethinking their fire emergency practices after a burning pile of trash turned into a vicious wildfire that ravaged a mobile home community, killing two people.

There are no California state laws that regulate how garbage men dispose of burning loads in their trucks, which leaves it to the independent waste disposal companies to decide the procedures employed for those occurrences, The Associated Press reported Thursday. more here

  1. “There are no California state laws…” What you mean they missed something to tax, regulate, rule over, impose on us. New law. All garbage trucks will now be followed by a fire truck.

    These fires aren’t because of “Climate Change.” It’s because of rotten forest management! SHEESH!

  3. They talk as if it was the lack of a law that was the problem. I doubt a bunch of lawyers turned politicians know the best way to put out a fire in any situation. Let some firefighters do some controlled experiments. Take what they learn and educate the garbage truck drivers. The politicians can just sit this one out.
