This is a nothingburger. First, it’s only in healthcare facilities. Second, it’s only in a few Bay Area counties. Third, there is no way they can make this effective anywhere other than healthcare facilities, where state and counties have control over finances. It may even fail to take hold in healthcare facilities. L.A. County tried a universal mandate a few months ago, immediately rescinded it over backlash.
And of course masks are useless in protection against viral spread.
That mask on Gov. Noisome is much too small. He has a big mouth. Too Big. Most of what he says and proposes and enacts just pulls California deeper into a dark hole.

I read somewhere that the mandate goes into effect on Nov.1, give us an update after that.
These five counties (not mine) were also the first to shut down in 2021. I’m hoping this insanity does not spread, I’m not going to go workout wearing a diaper on my face.
