BlabberBuzz:
Gov. Ron DeSantis, a Republican and close Trump ally who asked for the bill’s approval, is supposed to sign the legislation into law, but the proposal seems intended to be challenged in court after a tech industry trade group called it a violation of the First Amendment speech rights of corporations.
Republicans have been attacking Twitter, Facebook, YouTube and other tech companies for banning Trump and other conservatives from their platforms after violations of the companies’ rules, including suspensions on alleged incitement of violence related to the Jan. 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol. more
A great start, too bad the democrats don’t care about freedom of speech unless its theirs.
This law will trigger what will probably be the single most important string of trials this half century.
How these trials are decided will determine whether the Democrat/Big Tech cabal can continue to stifle our free speech for a very long time.
Bet she wins.
Blabber Buzz is a left site.
Its good to know what they are up to.
Wait till it reaches that scumbag John Roberts.
These Big Tech companies will now be forced to decide whether they support free speech, wherein they will be required to permit ALL material, OR they will declare they are editorial platforms in which case they are subject to civil liability.
They know they can’t claim both. They will try.
Grumpy, they claim they are a Free Editorial Site, not subject to any laws but their own.
