Most people, adults and children, in the past, used their instincts and could easily recognize creepy, sick perverts so we could avoid them. Not any more. What we have allowed to happen in the name of tolerance has come back to haunt us all. We have enabled this kind of infestation in our society in the name of political correctness and “niceness”. Shame on us.
For too many years it was not good enough for us to be “tolerant”, the goal posts moved to being “supportive”, and then to being “inclusive”, and finally to “championing”. That’s how we ended up with something like this “thing” in charge of a health system.
Until we had President Trump to speak up, too many of us just stayed quiet. I have stopped being quiet and am coming out of my shell of political correctness. I have never been one to pick a fight, and I will still avoid it if I can, but I have begun to regain my dignity when the opportunity presents itself. I will no longer sit silently, but will now challenge friends and family with what I believe is the moral course. I know they will label me as intolerant, but I don’t care as much about that as I used to, because I see society going deeper and deeper down the wrong path, and I have a love of the USA.
