600 yards, Barret Lapua, front focal, 25 mph cross winds. OK, I’m impressed.
Tampon Tim can’t even handle a Nerf Pistol or rifle let alone a real firearm.
That’s good shooting. It’s a royal pain in the ass to shoot in those type of conditions. Not only is calculating the wind drift contingent on experience, but the wind is also obviously gusting. The bullet is falling at a constant rate, but wind drift is a nightmare to deal with. Directions changes, swirling…
Then, to top it off when it’s like that it is also buffeting the shooter and rifle. That was some good shooting right there. I’m guessing he was shooting at 500M.
You may get Awolz to come to the range, but he will DEFINITELY run away if there’s any chance the targets might shoot BACK.
Well, I once shot a bad guy in one of those video games …
Been there done that…
No camera on the target? All I saw was someone shooting a rifle. Of course, I stand to be corrected but this doesn’t show shit.
Hey, Anonymous Saturday, 29 March 2025, 9:19 at 9:19 am. You ever shot on a Marine rifle range? I thought not. Semper Fi.
So Tampon Timmy can’t even load a shotgun and I’m confident “policing” the range by picking up the brass after the shot wouldn’t be understood by him either. You have to notice the little things like that…
EVERY Marine has a primary MOS of 0311. You’re a Marine Rifleman first and every other job second. Semper Fidelis.
Every Marine I know is a good shooter.
I’m sure they had the scope dialed in for the conditions he was shooting in.
Was at a military range in California and had a chance to fun shoot with some of the snipers one day. Took a few shots and they adjusted the scope for me. 5 rounds @ 100 that could be covered by a silver dollar. Head shots @ 300. Very gratifying but I could never have done that without a coach guiding me.
I’m sure J.D. was hitting what he aimed at and that looked like a Barrett .50 to me as well. I’ve picked one up but never had the chance to fire it.
How far back, in DECADES, must you go to find a POTUS who even knows how to hold a rifle?
Now do the SCOTUS: NOT ONE VETERAN.
Congress?? PFFT!!

Dialed in? So, either dial in a known range to target or hit it with rangefinder(s) and dial it in. So far, so good. We had a Barr and Stroud, before laser rangefinders were common consumer items. No big deal.
So then how about gusting ~25mph winds? What are you going to dial in? Divine guidance maybe.
It’s nothing for me to shoot thousands upon thousands of rounds at distant targets every year and trust me central Oregon and Washington, central and eastern Montana and southern Idaho the wind is constantly blowing. There are maybe one in 100 other elected and appointed officials in DC that could put two consecutive hits on a 24 inch circle, much less a silhouette.
That was decent shooting.
Tim Walls will impress the Democrat voters by inserting two consecutive manpons up his fat ass in a 35 mph crosswind.
Looks like the spotter was looking through a Unertl 100mm Team Spotting Scope. We have one. Still the gold standard.

Not to mention at that range the pill is subject to different rates and direction of wind travel on it’s marry way to find the steel. Front focal is a science of it’s own.
