Canada: Criminal charges against Calgary pastor dropped over COVID lockdowns

Rebel News:

Pastor Tim Stephens was one of Alberta’s high-profile arrests which resulted from the often arbitrary and clearly selectively enforced COVID-19 measures, which along with a litany of additional charges and fines also saw Pastor Artur Pawlowski, Pastor James Coates and others arrested or fined.

You may recall that Pastor Tim Stephens was arrested outside his church under the Rooke Order, which sought to limit gatherings and protests. He was released two days later as the courts failed to serve him notice of the order before arresting him, as they had served someone else believing them to be Pastor Tim Stephens. We spoke to Pastor Tim after he was released following this initial arrest.

Following that botched arrest and the locking-up of their church building, but unwilling to compromise in their commitment to worship, Stephens and his congregation took their church community underground, gathering at undisclosed locations to worship in peace. read more

  1. Canada has been employing terrorist tactics, as seen in Communist China, Germany, (former) Soviet Union, North Korea et al. Canada should now be regarded as a TERRORIST-CONTROLLED GOVERNMENT.

  2. To all the coppers out there:
Sometimes you have to come down with “Blue Flu” at an convenient time.

The problem, from what my copper buddies are telling me, is that the “new blue” types actually thought they were doing the right thing by busting people like the pastor for his own good.

PS. Fuck You Australia, New Zealand!

  3. Hmm, seems like I’ve heard a story like this before, lets see, I think it went something like this…

“25 Then came one and told them, saying, Behold, the men whom ye put in prison are standing in the temple, and teaching the people.

26 Then went the captain with the officers, and brought them without violence: for they feared the people, lest they should have been stoned.

27 And when they had brought them, they set them before the council: and the high priest asked them,

28 Saying, Did not we straitly command you that ye should not teach in this name? and, behold, ye have filled Jerusalem with your doctrine, and intend to bring this man’s blood upon us.

29 Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men.

30 The God of our fathers raised up Jesus, whom ye slew and hanged on a tree.

31 Him hath God exalted with his right hand to be a Prince and a Saviour, for to give repentance to Israel, and forgiveness of sins.

32 And we are his witnesses of these things; and so is also the Holy Ghost, whom God hath given to them that obey him.

33 When they heard that, they were cut to the heart, and took counsel to slay them.

    34 Then stood there up one in the council, a Pharisee, named Gamaliel, a doctor of the law, had in reputation among all the people, and commanded to put the apostles forth a little space;

35 And said unto them, Ye men of Israel, take heed to yourselves what ye intend to do as touching these men.

36 For before these days rose up Theudas, boasting himself to be somebody; to whom a number of men, about four hundred, joined themselves: who was slain; and all, as many as obeyed him, were scattered, and brought to nought.

37 After this man rose up Judas of Galilee in the days of the taxing, and drew away much people after him: he also perished; and all, even as many as obeyed him, were dispersed.

38 And now I say unto you, Refrain from these men, and let them alone: for if this counsel or this work be of men, it will come to nought:

39 But if it be of God, ye cannot overthrow it; lest haply ye be found even to fight against God.

40 And to him they agreed: and when they had called the apostles, and beaten them, they commanded that they should not speak in the name of Jesus, and let them go.

41 And they departed from the presence of the council, rejoicing that they were counted worthy to suffer shame for his name.

42 And daily in the temple, and in every house, they ceased not to teach and preach Jesus Christ.”

    Acts 5:25-42

  4. Even when they turn to murder, it cannot silence the Word of the Lord.

Look at the last sentence here.

“54 Now when they heard this, they were cut to the quick, and they began gnashing their teeth at him.

    55 But being full of the Holy Spirit, he gazed intently into heaven and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing at the right hand of God;

56 and he said, “Behold, I see the heavens opened up and the Son of Man standing at the right hand of God.’

57 But they cried out with a loud voice, and covered their ears, and they rushed upon him with one impulse.

58 And when they had driven him out of the city, they began stoning him, and the witnesses laid aside their robes at the feet of a young man named Saul.

59 And they went on stoning Stephen as he called upon the Lord and said, “Lord Jesus, receive my spirit!” 60 And falling on his knees, he cried out with a loud voice, “Lord, do not hold this sin against them!” And having said this, he fell asleep.

8:1 And Saul was in hearty agreement with putting him to death. And on that day a great persecution arose against the church in Jerusalem; and they were all scattered throughout the regions of Judea and Samaria, except the apostles.

2 And some devout men buried Stephen, and made loud lamentation over him.

3 But Saul began ravaging the church, entering house after house; and dragging off men and women, he would put them in prison.

4 Therefore, those who had been scattered went about preaching the word.”
    Acts 7:54-59, 8:1-4

…the darker the violence of the minions of satan make the night, the brighter the light of the Lord shines within.

It’s a lesson the evil never seem to learn.

  5. Get back to me (I might be napping) when he stops rimming them (all) for not murdering him. Instead of preaching for the killing (not “murder”) of those that call him “enemy”.
