Canada loses high-profile bid for United Nations Security Council seat

Global News:

Canada has lost its high-profile bid for one of the rotating seats on the United Nations Security Council.

The loss marks the second consecutive failed quest for one of the two seats available in the category for member states from western Europe and other countries, something Canada has now sought and failed to win under two very different governments.

A total of 128 votes were needed to secure a two-thirds majority.

Norway secured 130 votes while Ireland got 128.

Canada received just 108 votes, even fewer than the 114 first round ballot votes that it received in 2010 when the former Conservative government ran and failed to win the same seat. read more

  1. He blamed the old conservatives for Canada not being on the UN council of shit.

I am so Fucking happy. The piece of shit blew a ton of money trying to buy off Dictators & Dick Takers to come in a distant third.
He has failed at everything except buying votes with our own money to getting re-elected with a minority.

My Flag is way back from the house still getting pissed on regularly since his re-election.

Just laugh at us people. We deserve it!

  2. Next election? SHE/HE/IT could rule canada for life without an other election if the governor general (appointed by justine) refuses to dissolve parliament.
